UBS: legal transfer finalized in US

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS announced on Tuesday that it had completed the consolidation of its US operations into a single holding company, one of the final steps in the further integration of Credit Suisse.


This legal transfer, carried out according to schedule, must now be followed by the completion of the merger between the two Swiss entities, Credit Suisse (Schweiz) AG on the one hand and UBS Switzerland AG on the other.

Depending on regulatory approvals, this last operation could be completed as early as 1 July, UBS says.
