Derichebourg: net income of 32.3 ME for 1st half-year

733 billion euros in the first half, down 4.9% on the previous year. This decrease was mainly due to the Recycling division (-5.5%), partially offset by an increase in sales in the Services to Public Sector business (+7.8%).

EBITDA before non-recurring items for the first half came to EUR142.0 million, down 20.8% on the previous year. Operating income recurring came to 65 ME, down 38.8% on the first half of last year. Pre-tax income came to ME 48.1, down 51% on last year.

Net income for the consolidated group came to ME 32.3 for the first half of the 2023-2024 financial year, down 55.2% on last year.

' A recurring EBITDA target of between 300 ME and 310 ME at the end of the year seems realistic in the current economic climate. Adjusted for the negative effects of the 1st half, it would be between 315 ME and 330 ME', says the group.
