RWE: posts fall in Q1 adjusted NP

(CercleFinance.com) - RWE has reported a 39% fall in adjusted net profit to E0.
8bn and a 26% fall in adjusted EBITDA to E1.71bn for Q1 2024, a fall which it explains by the lower expected contribution from the flexible generation segment.

However, the German energy group reported higher contributions from the offshore wind segment, thanks to better wind conditions, and from the onshore wind/solar segment, as a result of capacity additions.

For 2024 as a whole, RWE confirms its target ranges of adjusted net profit of E1.9bn to E2.4bn and adjusted EBITDA of E5.2bn to E5.8bn, as well as its target of increasing its dividend to E1.10 per share.
