Vicat: close to 8% organic sales growth in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Building materials group Vicat has reported sales of E911m for Q1 2024, up 1.
2% as reported and 7.9% LFL.

This organic growth includes a 4.1% increase in cement volumes and a 5.4% increase in concrete volumes, as well as a pricing environment that remains resilient in most markets with a favourable cost/price spread.

Vicat expects its sales to continue to grow in 2024, and estimates EBITDA growth relative to 2023. It also aims to reduce its leverage ratio to below 1.3x by end-2025.
