Exel Industries: down on Q2 sales

(CercleFinance.com) - Exel Industries is down 3% after announcing sales of 292.
6 million euros for its second quarter 2023-24, down 1.8% (-2.1% organic), penalized by lower volumes in beet harvesting and leisure.

"Given the seasonal nature of our business, the second half of the year is more significant for the Group's annual performance and, in 2024, will rely on a very high basis of comparison, particularly in the fourth quarter", says Managing Director Daniel Tragus.

"In the agricultural sector, the downward trend in the order book continues, against a backdrop of a deteriorated business climate. However, sales remain solid for the first half of the year", continues the head of the spraying equipment group.
