Kraft Heinz extends partnership against hunger

(CercleFinance.com) - Kraft Heinz announces a three-year extension of its partnership and a $15m commitment from its Corporate Foundation to the Rise Against Hunger organization, to reduce world hunger and improve access to nutrition.


The extended partnership will fully fund the addition of 36 million Kraft Heinz micronutrient sachets (sachets comprising 18 essential vitamins and minerals) to the 207 million meals distributed by Rise Against Hunger worldwide.

It will also support the local and regional sourcing of 5.5 million meals, as well as sustainable agriculture projects that are expected to provide the equivalent of 250 million meals, and involve thousands of Kraft Heinz employees in volunteer work.
