Vinci: inaugurates renovated terminal near Osaka

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday, Vinci inaugurated the renovated terminal at Kansai International Airport, near Osaka (Japan), which it has operated alongside its local partner Orix since 2016.


This modernization project will increase the airport's capacity from 23 to 40 million international passengers, thanks to more efficient management of customs and security checkpoints.

It also boasts a new shopping area, featuring luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Hermès and Gucci.

Its design also reflects the Kansai identity, while offering new catering options featuring local brands and Japanese specialties.

This new terminalq's opening should contribute to the development of tourism in Japan in the run-up to the 2025 World Expo, to be held in Osaka.
