Airbus: first flight of NH90 Sea Tiger for Germany
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Helicopters has announced that the first NH90 Sea Tiger -the latest version of its NH90 NFH-, destined for the German Navy, has taken off on schedule for its maiden flight from its site in Donauwörth, Germany.
The company is now entering the qualification phase, which will focus on flight testing the helicopter and the new systems to be installed on board the NH90 Sea Tiger. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in late 2025. In 2020, the German Bundeswehr ordered 31 NH90 Sea Tiger multi-role frigate helicopters for its navy's naval operations.
