Ford: a new electrification label for Motorcraft
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford announced on Thursday that its Motorcraft network would be introducing a new label dedicated to electric vehicles, in response to the growing electrification of the vehicle fleet.
The repair and parts chain, affiliated to the automaker, explains that the new label is designed to enhance its range of services.
Among other things, the offer includes the adaptation of tools and equipment (PPE and EPC) with Getrac, Berner, Snap On & Sonic, as well as technical training at Motorcraft Academy training centers or off-site.
The service also includes a charging station offer with Ford Pro, and a personalized audit tool to check compliance with Daf Conseil.
The label, launched in October 2023, will continue to be rolled out in 2024.
This initiative comes at a time when 21% of the fleet of cars between zero and two years old are electric or hybrid vehicles.
