Visa: will acquire the British FinTech Earthport
(CercleFinance.com) - The shares of the British FinTech Earthport practically quadrupled this morning on the London exchange, to 28 pence, while the American payment card giant, Visa, plans to launch an OPA recommended at 30 pence per share.
The offer, which evaluates the share capital of Earthport at 198 million pounds sterling (approximately 220 million euros) represents a massive premium of 250% on the average weighted rate of the volumes for the last six months.
