Toll Brothers: dynamic trend in contracts
(CercleFinance.com) - Since the beginning of its fourth accounting quarter (from 1 August to 15 September), Toll Brothers has reported a 110% y-o-y increase in its net contracts signed (in comparison to 1678 houses per year).
"We continue to raise prices to manage the pace of growth, offset rising costs and maximize profitability," says Douglas C. Yearley, CEO of luxury single-family home builder.
He attributes the accelerated demand from buyers to many factors, including historically low interest rates and persistent excess supply, and says "we are positioned for growth in FY 2021, assuming market fundamentals remain favorable".
