Procter & Gamble: raises quarterly dividend

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Procter & Gamble announced that its board of directors has raised its quarterly dividend by 10% to 0.
8698 dollar per share, payable from 17 May to shareholders on record on 23 April.

The dividend increase will mark the 65th consecutive year that the consumer staples group has increased its dividend and the 131st consecutive year that it has paid a dividend since its incorporation in 1890.

For the record, the parent company of brands such as Ariel, Duracell and Pampers, reported adjusted EPS that is up 15% to 1.64 dollar in its last fiscal quarter (+18% excluding currency effects).
