Microsoft: expands IoT partnership with GE
(CercleFinance.com) - Microsoft said on Monday that it has expanded its partnership with GE to help industrial companies in Internet of things (IoT) and asset data.
As part of the agreement, GE will standardise its solutions on Microsoft Azure and will integrate its portfolio with Azure's cloud capabilities.
The companies will also co-sell and go to market together, offering end customers industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions.
In addition, GE will leverage Microsoft Azure across its business.
Microsoft also said that it would modernise Campbell's information technology (IT) platform through its Azure cloud by streamlining workflows.
