Microsoft: unveils 'low cost' tablet 'Surface Go

(CercleFinance.com) - Microsoft today unveiled a new product in its Surface range, called "Surface Go".

The Surface Go is a touchscreen tablet (that can be turned into a laptop if a keyboard and mouse are added - sold separately), which is sold much cheaper than other Surface products, as it will be offered from 449 euros in France (399 dollars in the US), for a scheduled release on 28 August.

It has a 10-inch screen, with an Intel Pentium processor, 4 to 8 gb of RAM, 64 to 256 Gb storage, and the Windows Hello facial recognition system. Microsoft also announced that it has up to 9 hours of autonomy, hence offering a device that is capable of competing with Apple's iPad.
