McDonald's: raises quarterly dividend 15%
(CercleFinance.com) - McDonald's late on Thursday raised its quarterly dividend by 15% as part of its plan to return cash to shareholders.
The world's largest restaurant company said that its board of directors declared a cash dividend of 1.16 dollar a share, up from 1.01 a share previously. It is payable on 17 December to shareholders on record as of 3 December.
This brings the fourth quarter dividend payout to nearly 900 million dollars, the company said.
McDonald's also confirmed its annual financial targets, beginning in 2019, targeting sales growth of 3-5%; and an operating margin in the mid-40% range.
