Ford: top executive ousted after 'inappropriate behavior'
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford Motor's president for North America, Raj Nair, is leaving the company, effective immediately after a recent internal investigation showed the executive had been behaving inappropriately, the US carmaker said on Thursday.
"I sincerely regret that there have been instances where I have not exhibited leadership behaviors consistent with the principles that the Company and I have always espoused," commented Said Nair in a statement after his dismissal.
Nair had been head of Ford North America since June 2017. He will be replaced by Kumar Galhotra, a 52 years old veteran who has served in many engineering and product strategy positions in the company.
