Dollar Tree: cuts EPS target range
(CercleFinance.com) - Dollar Tree has revised its annual EPS outlook to $5.
73 to $6.13 (from $6.30 to $6.80 three months ago), and has tightened its sales target range to 30-to-30.5 billion dollars (from 29.9-to-30.5 billion dollars previously).
While we are seeing early results from our initiatives, we are not immune to the external pressures that are affecting the retail industry as a whole, the discount chain's management said.
Dollar Tree posted Q1 adjusted EPS of $1.47, down 38%, on revenues of $7.32bn, up 6.1% as reported and up 4.8% on a comparable basis.
