Conagra: an unsurprising Q4.
(CercleFinance.com) - Before the US market opened on Thursday Conagra reported Q4 results that were bang in line with expectations.
The US agri-food group recorded a 9 cent y-o-y increase in EPS to 36 cents. Excluding extraordinary items, EPS came in at 37 cents, as expected by analysts.
Likewise, analysts had already forecast the 190 million dollar fall in revenues from the previous quarter to 1.86 billion dollars.
Conagra, which plans to repurchase 1.1 billion dollars' worth of its own shares in the new fiscal year, is targeting 2018 adjusted EPS in a range of 1.84 dollar to 1.89 dollar. Meanwhile, the consensus was expecting 1.88 dollar.
