AutoZone: Q4 earnings up sharply

2% at 740.5 million dollars (to end-August), meaning EPS that is up 47.6% at 30.93 dollars.
The group based in Memphis (Tennessee) saw its operating profit increase by 40.4% to one billion dollars, for a revenues that are up 21.2% to 4.5 billion dollars (+21.8% on a comparable basis and in the United States alone).
Thus, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, AutoZone's EPS increased by 13.4% to 71.93 dollars, with revenues increasing 6.5% to 12.6 billion dollars over the past year.
