Electrolux: to invest 130 million euros in Italian plant
(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish home appliance maker Electrolux plans to invest about 130 million euros in automation, digitalization and innovation at an Italian plant that makes refrigeration products.
Scheduled to be completed in 2022, the investment at the manufacturing facility in Susegana, near Venice, includes two new assembly lines and resources for product and process development, the group said on Wednesday.
The investment is part of the company's manufacturing investment program that it announced in 2017, totaling 8 billion Swedish kronor (about 750 million euros) over 4-5 years, it added.
