Signify: outlook suspended, dividend withdrawn
(CercleFinance.com) - Signify has decided to suspend its financial outlook for 2020 and to withdraw its proposal to pay a dividend of 1.
35 euro per share, the Dutch lighting group said on Friday.
Citing the high level of uncertainty and the very limited visibility on how the Covid-19 crisis might unfold, Signify has also decided to postpone its Capital Markets Day, that was set to be held on 18 June in London.
A new date will be announced in due course, the company said.
Once market conditions have stabilised, Signify plans to review its capital allocation to shareholders, the group pointed out.
The Signify share is currently down 4% on Euronext Amsterdam.
