ASML: raises revenue target for 2020
(CercleFinance.com) - ASML, one of the world's biggest manufacturers of chip-making equipment, on Thursday raised its revenue target for 2020 at its investor day, which is being held at its headquarters in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
At its previous investor day in New York in 2016, the Dutch company said that it expected to grow its net sales to approximately 10 billion euros by 2020.
ASML now expects net sales to grow to around 13 billion euros by 2020, based on a scenario of "moderate market growth."
After the acquisition of HMI, the consensus was looking for 11 billion euros.
The shares are inching up 0.1% at 155.1 euros on Euronext Amsterdam on this news.
