Airbus: two new H225 helicopters for Japan Coast Guard
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that after receiving its tenth H225 helicopter in February this year, the Japan Coast Guard (JCG) will expand its fleet with two new H225s, therefore bringing its total Super Puma fleet to 17, including two AS332s and 15 H225s.
The new helicopters will join its growing fleet to support territorial coastal activities, security enforcement, as well as disaster relief missions in the country, Airbus said.
JCG's H225 fleet is covered by HCare Smart hardware support, a customised availability program that enables the agency to focus on its flight operations while Airbus manages its assets.
