Airbus: Air Vanuatu orders four A220
(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Airbus announced that the airline Air Vanuatu has placed a firm order for four Airbus A220s (two A220-100s and two A220-300s), the former Bombardier CSeries.
"Air Vanuatu's first ever order with Airbus makes it the launch customer of the A220 in the Pacific region," Airbus said, adding that the national company of the island state currently operates hour a fleet of Boeing 737 and ATR 72 planes.
At present there are 530 entries in the A220 order book, 100-to-150 seat civil aircraft, Airbus says.
