Eni: makes gas discovey in the Niger delta
(CercleFinance.com) - Italian energy group Eni said on Tuesday that it has made a "significant" gas and condensates discovery onshore in the Niger delta.
The well, which has reached a total depth of 4,374 meters, has found significant gas and condensate accumulation, comprising over 130 meters of high quality hydrocarbon-bearing sands, Eni said.
The well can deliver in excess of 100 million standard cubic feet/day of gas and 3,000 barrels/day of associated condensates, and will be immediately put on-stream, it added.
