Accenture: unveils IT deal with French reinsurer Scor
(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture has helped French reinsurer Scor to transform its internal finance function by digitizing key business processes, the consulting group said on Tuesday.
The IT giant said it has helped Scor implement ServiceNow's platform, which simplified critical business functions as the new system handles approximately 30 key finance processes, some of them with robotic process automation.
The automation has reduced workload as many processes, including the quarterly-close process, were previously conducted manually, using spreadsheets, email and the telephone.
This posed a great challenge for a company that has over 100 legal entities spread across six continents, Accenture said.
