BT Group: Orange completes sale of its stake
(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has announced the sale of its remaining stake in BT Group, or about 248 million shares, i.
e. 2.5% of the British telecom operator's share capital. BT Group has repurchased around 41 million of its own shares for a net total of 486 pounds.
The settlement-delivery of the placement is scheduled for 2 July.
Citigroup Global Markets Limited was the sole bookrunner.
At the end of this placement through an accelerated bookbuilding process, Orange will hold no more BT Group shares and will have no further financial exposure to these shares.
