GSK: appoints Charles Bancroft as non-executive director
(CercleFinance.com) - British drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline on Friday appointed Charles Bancroft to its board as a non-executive director, effective from 1 May.
Bancroft recently retired from Bristol Myers Squibb, where he held several important roles in commercial, strategy and finance, in particular overseeing the recent 74 billion dollar acquisition of Celgene.
Bancroft has served as a member of Colgate-Palmolive's board from 2017 to date.
