Tesco: appoints new director on board
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday British supermarket group Tesco appointed the partner of a US-based investment fund on its board of directors.
The retailer said Melissa Bethell would be joining the board as a non-executive director and become a member of the audit committee as from 24 September.
A partner at Atairos, an investment fund backed by Comcast NBC Universal, Bethell will bring executive and non-executive financial, technology and strategic experience to the board, Tesco said.
