Spie: extends contract with Daimler
(CercleFinance.com) - Spie announces that it has renewed its contract with Daimler for the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen.
The group has developed its facilities management services as part of this contract.
Spie has also won a maintenance contract for the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen to manage part of the production processes.
More than 200 Spie employees will manage over 4.4 million square metres on both sites.
“We have been working for Daimler in the Stuttgart metropolitan area for 20 years and are constantly growing with the customer. In the future, we will be managing 2.8 million square metres with more than 100 colleagues - when we started out, there were just two of us,” says SPIE project manager Jürgen Schmid.
