Elior: FY 2019-20 sales down 19.4%
(CercleFinance.com) - Catering group Elior has posted 2019-20 sales of 3,967 million euros, down 19.
4% y-o-y.
International sales reached 2,182 million euros, down 19.3% in organic terms. In France, revenue reached 1,778 million euros, down 19.6% in organic terms.
Adjusted EBITA of the Group's continuing operations was -71 million euros for the year ended 30 September 2020, compared to 176 million euros for 2018-2019.
COVID-19 is estimated to knock 1,003 million euros off revenue and 268 million euros off adjusted EBITA. The impact on adjusted EBITA of the loss in sales (drop-through) over the year was 27% - below the 30% announced.
At end-September 2020, Elior had available liquidity of 630 million euros, compared to 709 million euros at the end of June 2020.
