BPCE: Q1 net banking income nears E6bn
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening Groupe BPCE published solid Q1 performance, with net banking income of 5.
947 billion euros, down slightly (-1.2%) at current currencies compared to the same period in 2018 (-2.3% pro forma and at constant currencies).
Net income, group share stood at 623 million euros, down 4.5% compared to the first quarter of 2018. After restating for the impact of IFRIC 21, net income, group share amounted to 933 million euros (-4.2%).
In addition, Groupe BPCE's CET1 ratio at the end of March 2019 reached an estimated 15.6%, against 15.8% at 31 December 2018.
