Suez: drinking water contracts renewed in New Caledonia
(CercleFinance.com) - Suez announces that the municipalities of Païta and Mont-Dore, in New Caledonia have renewed their drinking water distribution contracts with its subsidiary Calédonienne des Eaux (CDE).
These two 10-year contracts, which represent cumulative revenues of 50 million euros took effect on 1 January. Their major innovation concerns the deployment of connected meters for real-time monitoring of consumption and a leak alert system.
Suez said that, “This technology will provide the inhabitants with more control over their water bills and help protect the environment through the responsible use of water resources”.
