OL group: arrival of a central defender.
(CercleFinance.com) - Olympique Lyonnais (OL Group) has announced the arrival of Brazilian central defender Marcelo from Besiktas, Turkey, who has just signed a three-year contract with the group.
The transfer amounts to 7 million euros and could be supplemented by a maximum of 500,000 euros in incentives.
Marcelo, aged 30, will be playing his fifth European Championship since leaving Santos in August 2008, having played almost 300 matches.
