EDF: joint venture with Masdar in Abu Dhabi
(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday, EDF announced the creation of a joint venture with the Abu Dhabi company Masdar aiming to "explore and collaborate on opportunities in non-utility scale renewables and energy-efficient investments" in the Persian Gulf-Arabian Sea region.
A subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, Masdar is already associated with EDF in a photovoltaic park in Dubai, as well as a wind farm in Morocco.
