EDF: diplomat from Quai d'Orsay joins board.
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has announced that its board of directors has decided to co-opt Maurice Gourdault-Montagne to replace Christian Masset, for the remainder of his term of office, i.
e. until the general shareholder meeting that will approve of the group's 2018 accounts.
Maurice Gourdault-Montagne joined Quai d'Orsay in 1978. He was appointed to various key diplomatic posts, including Ambassador for France in the UK in December 2007, Germany in February 2011 and China in August 2014.
More recently, Maurice Gourdault-Montagne was appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs by decision of the Council of Ministers of 22 June 2017, as from 1 August 2017.
