Alstom: E650m order from Metra in Chicago
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has received a first order from Metra, the Greater Chicago commuter rail system serving the city of Chicago and its suburbs.
The order is for 200 reversible multi-level commuter carriages. The order follows Metra's Board of Directors' approval, in January 2021, to award Alstom a contract to buy up to 500 carriages.
This initial order of 200 carriages is worth approximately 650 million euros.
