Alstom: launches a capital increase
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has announced the launch of a capital increase in cash, with DPS maintained for shareholders for a total of approximately two billion euros (including share premium) to partially finance the acquisition of Bombardier Transport.
The subscription price has been set at 29.50 euros per new share and the theoretical value of the DPS at 2.90 euros. The listing period for the DPS will run from 17 to 26 November inclusive and the subscription period from 19 to 30 November inclusive.
The capital increase will thus result in the issue of 68,077,926 new shares, to be fully paid up upon subscription, representing a gross amount, including issue premium, of 2,008,298,817 euros. The offer will be open to the public in France alone.
