Iliad: hails success of Freebox Delta
(CercleFinance.com) - The parent company of the alternative telecom operator Free, Iliad boasts the "huge success", according to co-founder Xavier Niel, of its new Freebox Delta, its upmarket offer that now comes in two versions: less than two months after its launch, the "Delta" has already been subscribed to by over 100,000 subscribers.
Iliad says that it has been overwhelmed by demand. Only a few thousand subscribers were delivered the box in December, and we would again like to apologise for these delays, Xavier Niel added.
The Freebox Delta and the Freebox One are commercial offers that Free launched late last year for the purpose of winning back commercial support.
