Orange: mobilised against pandemic
(CercleFinance.com) - In the current global pandemic, Orange says that it is "fully mobilised to ensure its customers continue to benefit from the continuity of its services and the availability of its networks in all circumstances," with "Particular attention is being paid to healthcare services, especially hospitals".
"Despite a significant increase in traffic on fixed and mobile Internet networks, Orange's capacity has remained robust, in particular for the Internet, TV and OTT services," it underlines, adding that mobile voice traffic has doubled in volume.
In addition, it offers free-to-air broadcasting to all its Orange TV customers via their decoder, until 31 March, of the 4 OCS channels and 5 young children's channels: Boomerang, Tiji pour les petits and Boing, Toonami and Canal J for older children (excluding on-demand services).
