Vivendi: UMG BV secures financing - redeems bonds early
(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi announced on Friday evening that Universal Music Group (UMG) has obtained an agreement concerning the establishment of a five-year 3 billion euro financing line with four leading banks.
The syndication of this financing among a pool of banks is expected to be completed by the end of April 2021.
Vivendi has decided to proceed with the early redemption of the entire bond issue of 1 billion euros issued in May 2016, with an annual coupon of 0.75%, maturing on 26 May 2021.
