Capgemini: Europe approves acquisition of Altran
(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini announces that it has obtained the go-ahead from the European Commission for its proposed acquisition of Altran.
The group has already obtained all the required regulatory approvals - in particular from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS and the competition authorities in India, the US, Morocco and now from the European Commission.
Its friendly takeover bid for Altran has been open since 16 October. The closing date of the bid will be set by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF).
