Saint-Gobain: organises Innovation Day with 15 start-ups
(CercleFinance.com) - Today, Saint-Gobain Group says that it will welcome 15 start-ups and innovative SMEs in its Domolab, its innovation centre in Aubervilliers, near Paris, for a joint initiative day with the European Innovation Council (EIC).
As part of the European Union's Horizon 2020 program, the EIC selects and subsidizes start-ups and SMEs that have high innovation potential, to boost the rapid development of their products, services and technologies, Saint-Gobain said.
Out of the 70 start-ups and SMEs that have applied, 15 were selected to participate in the Saint-Gobain Innovation Day today and present their innovative approaches in the field of materials and new processes. They can meet heads of Saint-Gobain High Performance Solutions business units, as well as Research and Development and Marketing, and NOVA representatives to discuss the value and market relevance of these innovations, while starting talks around potential collaboration.
