Saint-Gobain: confirms 2018 targets
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Thursday Saint-Gobain announced 9m turnover of 31,130 million euros, compared to 30,570 million euros for the same period in 2017.
At comparable data, turnover increased by 4.3% over the first 9 months and by 3.1% in Q3 (10,343 million euros in Q3).
In detail, again over 9 months, revenues of the "Innovative Materials" division rose by 5.2%, those of the "Construction Products" division were up 5.6%, and those of the "Building Distribution" division increased by 3.1%.
"Saint-Gobain is therefore confirming its objectives for full-year 2018 and for the second half expects the like-for-like increase in operating income to be clearly above the level achieved in the first half," the group said.
