Veolia: wins contract in Australia.
(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia has announced that its subsidiary Veolia Water Australia Pty Ltd has been selected by Springvale Joint Venture and EnergyAustralia to build and operate the new water treatment facility for the Springvale Mine and Mount Piper Power Station.
This new plant will remain, at the end of construction and for a period of fifteen years, under Veolia's responsibility for the entire operation and maintenance of the pipeline and treatment facilities.
This contract enables the immediate start of the Springvale Station construction site, which is scheduled for completion in mid-2019. It will represent approximately 400 million Australian dollars (c. 256 million euros) in sales over the next 17 years.
