Klépierre: confirms having completed bid on Hammerson
(CercleFinance.com) - Klépierre has taken note of recent rumours about a possible merger with Hammerson.
The group confirms that on 8 March 2018 it sent to Hammerson's Board of Directors an indicative and friendly offer for the purchase of Hammerson shares that are issued (and which will be issued) of at a price of 615 pence per ordinary share.
This proposal represents a premium of approximately 40.7% over the closing price of 437.10 pence per Hammerson share on 16 March 2018.
Hammerson's Board of Directors rejected the offer made on 9 March 2018.
