Colas: to construct 2nd tramway of Angers
(CercleFinance.com) - Colas, a subsidiary of Bouygues, yesterday announced that it has won the contract to construct the second 10.
1 km long tramway line in Angers, with the contract worth a total of around 63 million euros.
The contract includes the construction of the railway (42 million euros, with the work scheduled for completion in mid-2021), as well as the completion of associated urban road developments (for the remaining 20.7 million euros, which is set to be delivered in June 2022).
This new line will connect the districts of Belle-Beille, to the west of the agglomeration, and Monplaisir, to the northeast, crossing through the city centre and the Maine river on a new line, Colas said.
