Thales: partnership with Teslstra in airspace management
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales Announces that it is teaming up with Australian Mobile Operator Telstra to Build an ecosystem for low-level airspace management for manned and unmanned aircraft, helicopters, drones and autonomous flying taxis.
Both groups have jointly developed the prototype of a communication and data transfer solution to prepare the integration of aircraft with or without pilots in the Australian airspace.
It includes the automatic issuance of flight authorisations for drones, coupled with a dynamic management of airspace. This collaboration will promote the development of new products and services, as well as new innovations.
