Thales: flight controls of future with Bell Helicopter
(CercleFinance.com) - Bell Helicopter, a subsidiary of Textron, has announced signing a contract with Thales for the development of flight control systems for Bell's vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft and on-demand mobility (ODM) solutions.
Bell continues to build the ODM network for the development of the Air Taxi. Thales will be responsible for the design and development of the technology of the flight control system - wide flight controls. Other partners which have been announced will provide the propulsion systems, avionics and vehicle management computers.
