Thales: contract for security at stations in Italy.
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced that it has won a contract to deploy new integrated communications and supervision systems at 61 Italian Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) stations to improve security.
In addition to Thales, this consortium brings together Leonardo, Ingegneria & Software Indistriale (I&SI) and SE.GI. The five-year contract is accompanied by maintenance services which will last another five years.
It covers the deployment of systems such as CCTV cameras, access control and the detection of intrusion, smoke detectors, protection barriers, energy efficiency, lighting, data transmission and wiring.
